The first time I stayed at a bed & breakfast was when my wife and I went on our first anniversary vacation weekend. We knew we wanted to continue away, we just were not sure where or must wanted to do.

Since then my girlfriend and I also been to two other bed & breakfasts, one in Williamsburg, VA and another in upstate California near Seneca Square. Although the concept every single bed & breakfast were similar, these people different in a variety of ways. For instance in Vermont at breakfast and dinner (both that were included) we sat at our own table in the adjoining restaurant. In NY and VA we ate a significant table with all the other guests. In VA the owners took care of everything, well them and their little kids. In NY and VT the owners ran the place but also had help to get rooms ready whilst the place fully clean. In VT we had our own outside entrance in our room as generally if the room was many of our house. In NY and VA this is your own bedroom in the same house with another guests.
Regardless of whichever style you choose, if you have not stayed at a bed & breakfast you should. 1 was wonderful an individual really felt as you were part of your owner’s family as stayed there.
I would recommend first pick a point where you know you would cherish to stay. Do you like the mountain ranges? How about the sun or a tropical island?
